What you get
One connection, two surfaces
A single Meta connection covers the Instagram Business account and its Facebook Page. Metrics and posts are stored per platform so the report can show each separately.
The metrics clients ask about
Followers, reach, impressions, profile views, website clicks and an engagement proxy — level metrics compared last-vs-last, cumulative metrics summed for the window and compared to the previous window of the same length.
Top posts for the range
Recent posts with likes, comments, shares, saves and reach, ranked by engagement for the selected dates — not a frozen "last sync" list.
History and data lifecycle
First sync backfills about 12 months, walked in 30-day windows to fit Meta's insight limits. Disconnecting stops the sync; a Meta data-deletion request removes the provider-derived rows.

What permissions does it ask for?
Read-only insights scopes for Instagram and the linked Page — no posting or management permissions.
